An attenuator should be able to work on any signal you throw at it.
Mic, Line, or anything in between. Have you gotten a chance to try it
out yet?
Good luck,
James

I have a MINT condition Core Sound mic2496 24-bit pre-amp A/D converter
for sale. Comes with two breakout cables, one XLR and one RCA
line-in. This is a great little pre-amp! $450 shipped.

Hey all,
I've got a D-7 in pretty good condition, that I'll offer here before it
goes on Ebay. It works well, but it does have the not-uncommon
"fast-forward" issue, where it stops fast-forwarding after a few seconds
and says "blank", and then resumes fast-forwarding. It does FF, it just
takes a bit longer. Otherwise everything works pretty good. Included is
the 7-pin to optical in/out Sony cable, power supply, and a handy
foam-cushioned cardboard carrying case (this actually works much better
than it sounds!) I've upgraded to a DA-P1, so I'm selling this to add to
the mic upgrade fund! I'd like to get $200.
Give me a yell if you're interested.
P.S. If anyone has some HEB/DPA 4060's that are getting dusty in the
closet, let me know.
Thanks,
Mac

I haven't tried it with the "real thing" yet but did hook them up to the
output of my laptop (using stereo 1/8" to RCA, RCA to 1/4", 1/4" to XLR,
attenuators, XLR to 5-pin Mic2496 cable) and it seemed to work fine.

Hey,
I can't believe I'm the only one here trying to catch 96 hours of XM
concerts this month. So far I missed the first 5 hours tonight
'cause I forgot that "Wednesday" actually starts here (L.A.) at 9pm
on Tuesday... duh... and of course I was taping 4 other things at
the same time anyway.
So, if anyone else has taped a bunch of these shows and wants to
trade for the ones they missed, please reply...
thanks
