I know that when my free Relix subscription started about 2 years ago, there
was a note along with it stating that it was "compliments of Terrapin
Tapes", so that might explain the source for MANY of us.
Personally, I enjoy getting the magazine, though I don't often have much
time to read it.

Just checked out the Edirol R4 at a shop in Akihabara. I guess the photos and
descriptions didn't somehow prepare me for this behemoth. It's huge and
unweildy-looking. Still seems like it'd be fun to work with. I guess it won't be long
before other manufacturers start issuing their own 4 track recorders--you think?

Anybody here planning on taping the current "Rock Never Stops Tour" with
Cinderella headlining? If you are, then please get in contact with me. (MD
& DAT sources welcome) Thanks.

So I am working out here in Aspen, CO at the Aspen Music Festival as
one of the recording engineers here and have access
to some of the nicest mics known to man to use while recording
performances here. It's definitely a great time.
I brought a few of my inexpensive mics out with me so that I can work
on some of my own stuff out here, and one of those mics was a Blue Baby
Bottle. All has been well until a coworker of mine accidently dropped
the mic while mic'ing a guitar cab. Now the mic still works great, but
there is a hideous dent in the grill of the mic. I tried to figure out
how to remove it so that I could fix it, but the damn thing seems to
not have a user friendly removable grill.
Does anyone here have any experience with removing the grill on a Blue
Baby Bottle, or know of any sites or anything that could help me out. I
emailed Blue 2 weeks ago, but have yet to recieve a response from them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks
