Anyone ever used an SM57 to openly tape? I have one nearly brand new that I was using for a different application, and was just wondering about what kind of results it would produce?

Have the following:
Panasonic SV3700. Good shape, no known issues. Used for play only in my
store, about 6 hours a week. Includes manual and remote.
Core Sound converter which converts Optical to S/PDIF and vice versa. Also
can work as a splitter. Includes DC adapter, or will work on 9V portable
source.
Teac X-1000-R Reel to reel deck. The Coupe deVille. Auto reverse play and
record, real time counter, DBX, index functions. Does not play properly in
reverse play. Can have it serviced or trade as is. Includes take up reel and hubs.
Want the following:
ipod photo 30gb latest version
Sony r500
Thanks!
AKAI GX-630D Reel to Reel Deck. No bells and whistles, but working well.
Includes reel and hubs.

Hi there,
Just posting to see if anyone has any shows of The Cramps that they'd be
interested in trading for. I'd dig finding any shows from Chicago, as those
seem to be harder to come by...especially last year's show at the Vic
(10/23/04). But, anyone up for any Cramps/Cramps-related trading, please
contact me. I have most of my list available at
www.webspawner.com/users/bensshowlist/index.html.
Thanks!
Ben

Hi DAT heads,
So, I ran into the traffic jam from hell trying to get from LA to San
Diego on friday afternoon/night. Ended up getting there so late that I
didn't bother taping anything.
Hoping that someone here might have been there and gotten the Garbage
set, that's the one I was most interested in getting. I caught the last
20 minutes of their set, but would really like to hear what I missed.
Please get in touch - thanks!
