The specs say that it can use microdrives, but there is nothing further on it. As someone on a budget, a microdrive is certainly a cheaper solution than CompactFlash. -bsk ------------------------------ From: Benjamin Scott-Killian Subject: Microdrive Question Resolved Date: Thu, 11 Aug 2005 21:23:30 -0400 In regards to my question...I answered it myself. I guess I didn't know what a microdrive entailed. Now I see that they are compat. with CompactFlash devices. Sorry for the WOB. -bsk >>>>Does anybody have any information on how this device uzes microdrives? The specs say that it can use microdrives, but there is nothing further on it. Date: Fri, 12 Aug 2005 12:22:03 +0000 Thanks to all who gave their advice on this. I've made the variable attenuator - just waiting for an opportunity to use it. A couple of people recommended using the in-line volume adjusters that are sold for walkman headphones but I'm sure I've heard people on this list say that they aren't really suitable for this use. If I stick one between my CSBs and my D8, do I risk distressing my mics or will it do the job?
