Date: Tue, 6 Sep 2005 15:53:43 -0700 (PDT) Hello After 17 years of taping shows, I finally have to get on a plane with my gear, No stand. I have a laptop bag with Mics, DAT, Preamp, all the basic stuff. Nothing Strange or too weird. Any tips for searches, security, etc. I am not trying to hide anything. I just do not want my gear messed up or abused by hired goons. I am a bit "protective" of my gear. I am going from chicago to oakland in a few weeks. Thanks for any tips. I need that lock! I've found that the pinch-rollers and lock-rings from DDS drives are essentially identical. You can probably get an old DDS-1 on ebay for not much more than the shipping cost.
