I can't tell you the exact policy on recording... However, Jorma/Tuna specificaly requested that they be put on dimeadozen do not trade list. You may want to ask one of the mods there (Nightshifted is always helpful) for more information.
Stay Kind,

Hello
After 17 years of taping shows, I finally have to get
on a plane with my gear, No stand.
I have a laptop bag with Mics, DAT, Preamp, all the
basic stuff. Nothing Strange or too weird.
Any tips for searches, security, etc.
I am not trying to hide anything. I just do not want
my gear messed up or abused by hired goons. I am a bit
"protective" of my gear.
I am going from chicago to oakland in a few weeks.
Thanks for any tips.
Jim

I've found that the pinch-rollers and lock-rings from DDS drives are
essentially identical. You can probably get an old DDS-1 on ebay for
not much more than the shipping cost. If you can't, let me know and
I'll send you a lock-ring.

Sorry, can't help you here. I've never heard of this sort of problem.
