I have a number of DAT->HD transfers to make and won't have time to listen intently right away. But I'd like to ensure that there are not preventable problems on playback. Anyways, it may eventually sway the band's anti-taping stance if more folks "sacrificed" their masters and recording duties were rendered pro bono...at the b=very least some of the more conscious hip-hop actually egts a chance to be documented even if it never leaves the band-member's homes :) And yes, Robert Cray is still VERY anti-taping, i spoke w/ the man hisself for a good five minutes on the subject of Alan Lomax.
