No, the artist has a policy of no taping. This policy started sometime after
March, 2003. His bootlegs are banned on DIME, by request of the artist. The
management has been known to be aggressive in monitoring shows for stealth
tapers and in contacting people who are trading boots.

You can save some $$ by getting a lighting stand and then picking up a $2
adapter so that threads of your mic bar match up.
I have a Bogen stand (made by Manfrotto) with a Shure A27M vertical bar for
the mics. Works perfect.
I'd also suggest to look for one that is silver and not black in color.
Much less chance of people walking into the stand in the dark. Either way I
usually wrap a few neon rings around the stand just to be safe.
Stay Kind,
Dana

Hi Dat-Heads,
I am a new taper and I am getting my first rig together. I was
wondering what people use for stands. I have seen a lot about the Shure
S15a, but not much about anything else, does anybody have any other recs?

Hello,
I taped Rolling Stones Boston shows (Aug.21 and 23).
My friend taped Saint Paul(Spt.6) and Milwaukee(Spt.8)
We used Sony TCD-100 and DSM6S,
all shows are excellent sound and complete.
We are looking for low generation source of Rolling Stones 2005/06 shows.
If someone who taped or will tape Rolling Stones 2005 shows is interested
in my tape, please contact me.
Hiro
