strongly oppose a recent Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)
proposal that would hobble new digital radios with anti-recording devices.
This RIAA proposal is aimed at private, noncommercial home users like you.
It will limit your rights to copy inside your home and to play =A0music on
other devices that you already own.

Which is really strange, considering he's released a couple live albums that
heavily used the work of unofficial tapers. I guess Al (or more probably,
his
management) takes back that thank you to "Mike Shiner and all the tapers who
contributed to archiving this music" on the "Por Vida" disc...

I talked to Alejandro personally when he was here in the Minnesota. He was
very dissapointed when a Mr Landis gave out a show after he promised he
would keep it to himself. That is the reason he changed his stance on
taping. I had one of my recordings on Por Vida and he said no way to me.
Something to think about when you promise an artist to keep a show to
yourself! Mike

I pulled a nice stealth recording of Arcade Fire the other night at First
Avenue here in Minneapolis with DPA 4061's. It's a tad boomy, but sounds
pretty nice. Just looking for other people who've taped Arcade Fire. I'd
really like to find the ACL and Stubb's performances from last weekend.

I borrowed the original master cassette of the Fukuoka 1976. Here is
some info:
(NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE)
1) 03-08-1976 Kyuden Kinen Taikukan, Fukuoka, Japan
2) master cassette: Maxell UD-90 x 1
3) 82 min stereo source: missing last 2 songs
4) My tape gen: Audience Cassette Master > My DAT (AUD CM>D1)
I heard this source released by boot CD on August 2005. But mine isn't
this copy item.
If anyone taped his 70s or 80s shows, please reply privately. I also
have many lowest gens and the original master (11/12/2003).
