Date: Tue, 04 Oct 2005 15:08:44 -0400 I see the MicroTrack is being shipped by several retailers. Just wondering if anyone here actually has one and could give us a review? Will a 2GB flash card be enough for recording a two hour show? I'm looking at both the Edirol R-1 and the MicroTrack as a replacement recorder, and would like some user info. Thanks. Stacey ------------------------------ From: "Kevin Caldwell" Subject: Keith Jarrett 10/14/05 Tokyo - Extra Ticket Date: Wed, 5 Oct 2005 09:38:32 +0800 Hello Folks. Greetings from Hong Kong. I have an extra ticket for the October 14 Keith Jarrett solo show in Tokyo. I'd love to see a taper get this. Contact me off list if interested. Kevin Bemishk at netvigator.com ------------------------------ From: David Walsh Subject: FS: 2 AKG C3000B's, Denecke phantom pwr, Shure mic stand Date: Wed, 5 Oct 2005 03:36:11 -0700 (PDT) I'm offering the following items for sale: 2 AKG C3000B (the silver kind) microphones. FYI, these are not matched and don't come with shockmounts (I think AKG started including those a year or so after I bought these). Clips included. Bought in March of '99 for $530 for the pair and took great care of them ever since. They will be shipped in the original box with the foam inserts. The box is a little ratty from carrying around, but the mics are mint. 1 Denecke PS-2 48 volt dual channel phantom supply. Uses 9 volt battery. According to the paperwork, the battery should last from 4-38 hours, but from my experience, it lasts about 3 2 hour DATs max, so I always keep extra 9 volts on hand. Bought in June of '01 for $150. Mint condition. 1 Shure 15A 15' mic stand. Bought in May of '99 for $150. I generally never put the stand higher than 10', as I mostly taped regional stufflike the Columbus Community Festival (Comfest) rather than the larger shed type venues. If you extend it to 15' make sure you have a way to anchor the tripod base down. Asking price: AKG 3000b's $400 OBO + shipping Denecke PS-2 $100 OBO + shipping Shure 15A $100 OBO + shipping Offers considered for the lot. All paperwork (manuals, receipts)included. Will accept money orders only please (sorry, still stuck in the '90s!). Reason for selling- I just don't use the stuff anymore. I think I peaked as a taper around 1998-1999. I've used this stuff a whopping 10 times or so since 2000, so I figured I should find a better home for it!
