From: "Otten, William" <William.Otten@LibertyMutual.com> Subject: ISO: Foo Fighters/Weezer New Jersey 10/14/05 Date: Mon, 31 Oct 2005 11:12:47 -0500 Anybody our there get the Weezer/Foo Fighters sets at the Meadowlands on Oct. 14th . Any format will do. Don't have much (if any) from these bands to trade, but have tons of other artists. Can also do b&p. Thanks, Bill bossman284@yahoo.com
From: Brian Skalinder <bskalinder@yahoo.com> Subject: FS: Sony D100, D8 Date: Mon, 31 Oct 2005 10:34:20 -0600 Please contact me directly at bskalinder@yahoo.com if you're interested. Details... ============================== $325 Sony TCD-D100 with accessories incl ship / ins to lower 48 ============================== My original, primary recorder. Purchased new, though I don't recall if from CDW or Oade Bros. Includes the Oade Bros mic preamp upgrade ($125 at the time performed), which removes the "hole" in the D100's gain structure and lowers the noise floor. This deck is a great option for those wishing to run mics directly from a battery box into the D100 for uber-stealth, but still a great option for those running outboard gear and line-in or digi-in, as well. Approximate usage by me: Record - 98 tapes, or ~200 hrs (conservative); Playback - ~74 tapes, or ~150 hrs (conservative). Missing 1 rubber foot on the back. Minor scuff on the front next to the light button, and the usual cosmetic flaws commensurate with field use. Perfect functional condition. Includes TCD-D100, RM-ED100 remote (not FS separately unless the deck sells first), wallwart, pleather case. Seller claimed he only used it for a few band rehearsals, maybe 20 hrs usage, tops. Upon receipt, I found it in absolutely pristine, immaculate condition. Approximate usage by me: Record - 81 tapes, or ~160 hrs (convervative); Playback - ~0 tapes. Minor scuff on the face, and the usual minor cosmetic flaws commensurate with field use. Perfect functional condition. Includes TCD-D8, wallwart, pleather case. Pic: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v245/bskalinder/recgear4sale/d8.jpg

From: Matt Radosevich <mradosevich@gmail.com> Subject: question Date: Mon, 31 Oct 2005 15:43:20 -0500 I have recently acquired an Eco Charge SC-61 Charger and a BP-50 battery to run my DA-P1. It doesn't seem like that charger wants to charge the battery for some reason. As soon as I plug the charger in the green float light comes on and stays on. It never goes into fast charge mode. I know that the pack is completely dead. Even if I plug the charger in without it attached to the battery the green float light is lit. Both of these items have been sitting for probably 2 or 3 years at this point. Is the battery bad, or the charger or both. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Matt
From: Ryan Gear <ryan@crewcial.org> Subject: Wayne The Train Hancock taping policy? Date: Mon, 31 Oct 2005 16:12:40 -0500 He'll be here in Columbus in a week or two, and I might try to tape. I'm wondering if I can bring my stand in for the Schoeps or will have to stealth. r.
From: Adam Smith <adaml@lanset.com> Subject: Field Mixers Date: Mon, 31 Oct 2005 13:21:35 -0800 Does anyone have any experience or knowledge with the Rolls MX 422 field mixer? I currently use a Mackie 1202 and I'm looking for something that is smaller and DC power would be nice too. This would primarily be used for combining a feed from a sbd and a mic pair. The rolls specs are: self noise -57 db max, -90db typical. Max gain +65db, S/N ratio 115 db, freq. response 20-30Khz, Unfortunately the Sound Devices 442 and Shure FP-34 are out of my budget. So, I'd appreciate any experience or advice. If you know of any other similar mixers I'd like to hear about those too Thanks for the help, Adam
