DAT-heads Digest #657, Volume #7 Tue, 8 Nov 05 10:50:01 EST Contents: ISO: Jackson Browne ("Steve Trick") WTB: Face Plate for Sony R500 Home Dat Deck ("Michael J.") re: RIAA at it again ("Mark McKay") ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "Steve Trick" Subject: ISO: Jackson Browne Date: Mon, 07 Nov 2005 16:55:13 +0000 I've been trying for a little while to find some Jackson Browne boots to give to my uncle as a christmas gift and have had no results. If there is anyone here at dat-heads who'd be willing to share I would consider doing 2:1, or something to that effect. my list is at www.phishhook.com/lists/stevetrick. Thanks, Steve ------------------------------ From: "Michael J." Subject: WTB: Face Plate for Sony R500 Home Dat Deck Date: Mon, 7 Nov 2005 14:05:05 -0800 (PST) Subject pretty much says it all. My home deck ended up with a bent rack mount. I would like to replace it so it is straight. I hope someone out there maybe has a dead R500 that they would let me have the front plate off of for some nominal fee... Let me know. __________________________________ Yahoo! It is easy to give something away that is worthless. Although you are >not sure what band it was, we can be relatively certain it wasn't The >Stones >or U2. Wow. Worthless? Why, because you've never heard it? They could be the next Stones for all you know, but even if not, it seems strange for someone on a list like this to call music worthless, especially when you haven't heard it. >2. That's what all the artists say before they get signed to a record >label >and realize how much money they are losing. Let's see what their line is >when people are willing to pay for their music. Last time I checked, Pearl Jam has no problem with people sharing their bootlegs either, including the "official" bootlegs. They aren't exactly a local bar band. >Sorry I'm a cynic. That's one way to put it...
