DAT-heads Digest #668, Volume #7 Sat, 19 Nov 05 21:50:01 EST Contents: can someone recomend some cheep wav editing software (Stephen Stroud) Sony DTC-60ES (Stephen Stroud) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Stephen Stroud Subject: can someone recomend some cheep wav editing software Date: Sat, 19 Nov 2005 21:13:45 -0500 Hello there folks, just wondering if anyone could point me to some cheep but decent WAV editing software, the main things I need to do are divide tracks or seperate tracks, I use a standalone cd burner in my audio equipment where I press a button to put a track mark in, sometimes I screw it up when transferring from DAT to CD so I like to make the adjustments to the tracks before releasing the shows to people. I've been using trial versions of Cool Edit Pro and Adobe Audition but the trial is almost over, and I don't want to spend $300 on a program to make simple edits to WAV's. If the program can increase the volume that would be nice too for the shows where I'm a little low on my settings. Thanks Steve ------------------------------ From: Stephen Stroud Subject: Sony DTC-60ES Date: Sat, 19 Nov 2005 21:17:12 -0500 Hello, I just purchased a Sony DTC-60ES for about $400 canadian and its brand new in the box still, I was just wondering if some of you could give me your input on this machine, I wanted a standalone unit for transfering my masters to CD instead of putting more hours on my D8, I know this unit has SCMS but I already have a M-Audio CO3 to take care of that Any info will be appriciated Thanks Steve ------------------------------ ** FOR YOUR REFERENCE ** To unsubscribe from this digest, please send email to dat-heads-unsubscribe@datheads.phish.net If your email address has changed, you may (optionally) send the message to dat-heads-unsubscribe-oldaddress=olddomain@datheads.phish.net and the old address will be removed.
