Subject: why bother taping Date: Fri, 02 Dec 2005 16:58:12 -0500 thats what a few of my friends are saying now.... "why bother taping. you can download the show the next day" i dont think this dimeadozen (what exactly does that mean?) or archive or whatever is really doing anything positive to increase the amount of material out there it does however make any entry in its catalog a commodity it has definitely reduced the amount of tapers cassettes with no hiss were very cool to have. recordings that came through particular channels made me feel special just for having them. but for me, its not ALL about the music. its good for making friends too. _________________________________________________________________ On the road to retirement? I have the show in a strange mix which apparently came from a real sbd master...there`s also a pro video shot out there.. Extra cool show, lots of Hanoi Rocks songs...even Axl Rose and Slash join Michael on some songs... Lots to trade.... Best, Karsten -- Telefonieren Sie schon oder sparen Sie noch?
