I'm only interested in this particular=20 ------------------------------ From: "Howard Crowe" Subject: FS : Sony TCD-D100 Date: Wed, 18 Jan 2006 19:46:54 -0000 As the subject says, I'm looking to pass on my TCD-D100 to someone who will make better use of it than me. Haven't used it much for a while and not likely to so if anyone is looking for one as a spare or replacement etc, here it is. Mechanically there's no problems, I've taken care of it and it's not been heavily used. In recent years it's been used to record off the desk for a band I've been doing lighting for. It's been incredibly reliable, no misloads etc. The only issues I'm aware of are a small cosmetic dent on the cover and the battery cover has cracked and needs to be stuck down with tape but I've never had a problem with the conection and have almost exclusively used it with batteries. No idea if these are available as spares but I'm happy to supply photos on request. Still have the original box, manual, power supply, remote etc. The power adapter is 2 round pins but I can throw in a UK 3-pin adapter if required. I can also include a bag of (I think) 30 or 40 used once DATs and a genuine Sony 7-pin optical i/o connector which alone was around 100 UK Pounds. Have already passed on my mics, so it's only the recorder that's up for sale. I'm in the UK but happy to ship overseas. Looking for 225 UK Pounds (to include the optical cable) + shipping. Will consider realistic offers for a quick sale. Please email me privately if anyone is interested. Thanks Howard ------------------------------ From: avps Subject: zefiro za2 for sale Date: Wed, 18 Jan 2006 23:02:41 -0500 barely used. make me an offer. avps@erols.com ------------------------------ From: WILLIAM MCKINNEY Subject: dat tape compatability Date: Wed, 18 Jan 2006 20:28:28 -0800 (PST) I have several decks that I use at home and at work. I do taping at both places, and I can't seem to use the tapes made on my home deck jvc-xd-z507, on any other deck, even the jvc-xd-z507 at work. They do play but sound distorted or smeared. When the tape made on my home jvc is played on a Panasonic sv-3800, it sounds smeared and the cleaning light comes on. If I play it on any portable sonys again they sound smeared. However, the tapes made on the jvc at work, (same brand of tape), sound great on all decks. Does anyone have sugestions. My thoughts are to replace the pinch roller on all decks, clean all rollers and see if the tension adjustments are the same in all like decks. Any help would be appreciated.
