Strange remastering problem ("Gunther Wandtke")

Recently I re-mastered an audience recording, with the typical problem of
spoken passages being too low in volume compared to the music. I fixed this
in Cooledit by applying envelopes to these low volume passages, boosting
them by 2 to 4 times the original recording volume. Everything sounds fine
on my computer and my home stereo, however if I play the resulting CDs in my
car stereo, the boosted passages appear distorted in the way you would
expect from a recording you boosted beyond the 100% level (which I did not
do). My car stereo plays all normal CDs fine, without any distortions.
Anybody got any idea what is going on there and how I can master these CDs
to make them compatible with my car stereo?
Thank you, Gunter

You can readily stealth with a 722.

Lets try this again. I got some inquiries but nothing
solid. Below is the remainder of the CDR purging I am
doing. Note the only bands remaining are Coldplay,
Starsailor, Stereophonics, and Travis.
I would prefer to send them all to one person but if
you want a specific band (not a specific show), I am
willing to send full band "sets" instead.
Show are about 50/50 between Audio CDs, and SHN/FLAC
CDRs.
Email me if your interested. The full list is below:

Thanks for your time.
