I went to use it and it appears that the transport is = giving out or has gone out. I tried repacking a tape a couple of times to get = the wheels moving and got it to play through last night but tonight the = problems are back. Last time it went for repairs the drive reel, takeup reel, and pinch roller assembly were replaced. I'm thinking that if I can replace these parts again it might bring the thing back to life. Looks like = parts are about $60 if someone actually has them in stock. Here are my = questions: 1. I don't have the repair manual. Does anyone have a 59ES repair manual that they'd be willing to copy the pages regarding R&R of the transport assembly? 2. If I spend the $$ on the parts to get it working, what is this thing = even worth these days? 3. Does anyone want to buy a 59ES with very light use that has barely = been used since it's last service yet has a transport issue? 4. Has anyone experienced a sluggish Sony transport that's come back to = life with a bit of "exercise"? 5. Does anyone want to trade? (I still have a D7 and a FostexD5 that = work fine... Looking for Rufus Wainwright among others) Thanks --Paul Thomson Hood River, Oregon ------------------------------ From: Brian Hadella Subject: FS: T+ Mod UA-5 and Accessories ($575 Shipped) Date: Sun, 26 Feb 2006 04:50:43 -0800 (PST) I have for sale my T+ Mod UA-5.
