For most shows, I should be able to put you on the guest list +1. I just need you to send me a copy of the show afterwards, preferably quickly. Here are the dates. If you are interested, shoot me an email and list your gear (I only get one taper ticket per show, and want to pick the best rig where possible). Thanks in advance to anyone who volunteers. There are some West Coast dates in May. I'll announce those in a couple weeks, but they are listed at www.cowboyjunkies.com if you want to look and get in on the list early. Subject: dat2wav no longer being sold... Would someone send me a license file or full version? Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2006 10:11:03 -0500 I tried to buy dat2wav but received this from the software's owner, Jim McLaughlin: > Tony, > > We suffered a family tragedy earlier in the year so we > have permanently discontinued all Computall > operations. > > At some point when I find the time, the web site will > show that Computall is out of business. I will likely > rerelease all the shareware as freeware. > > jim I was finally able to get everything working and was all set to start transferring tapes to my PC when I received this. Would someone send me a license file or full version? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time, Tony ------------------------------ From: Philip Dinhofer Subject: 744T - Post-production Help??? Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2006 07:37:59 -0800 (PST) OK, I recently acquired a 744T, even have a few four track recordings (Schoeps/SBD) on it and have successfully managed to transfer them to my computer's hard drive .... now the part I didn't plan for ... how to work with these four tracked files on the computer ... 1) to make a 24/96 audio dvd that I can put into the computer and listen to through my stereo, indexed/tracked of course so I can skip around to the songs I want to hear (guess I also need a suggetion on a sound card upgrade with a 24/96 analog output as the Lynxone card I have only goes 24/48 - would that be the Lynxtwo card?), and 2) to mix down the four track file and under go the re-sample process to 16 bit stereo for more friendly consumer/home/car use and for trading, etc. I'm looking for suggestions as to software, soundcards, and anything else I might need to go with my new computer which has the AMD 4800 dual core processor, and am curious as to what you are using and what you think of it, pro's/con's, plugins, etc. Phil __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
