In hopes to get it running to transfer some DATs of mine, I installed it, downloaded the audio firmware with fup.exe and tried to run it. Unfortunately, it didn't work as I hoped. The drive came from a Sun system and has the firmware: ARCHIVE Python 02635-XXX596A When I run the fup program, I get "Firmware download not supported by normal fup update" Can anyone here help me out on this or maybe provide me with some updatable firmware? Thanks! (to audio) I got a few glitches in mine... thanks-- --Gary ------------------------------ From: jw@thewhitleys.com Subject: re: Could somebody recommend a video capture card or device? Date: Fri, 05 May 2006 05:58:26 -0700 I posted a link to the HDTV Wonder card a while back. You can decode the Free-to-Air signals out there and give your satellite bill the boot. as well as turn your computer into a HDTV tuner. I think it had analog video inputs on it. Speaking of which, what have people had good luck with as far as video capture/editing software? I've got a usb connection with my DV cam but the Windoze video software locks up my computer when I try to get anything off of it.... > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > From: Jonathan > Subject: Could somebody recommend a video capture card or device? > Reply-To: Jonathan > Date: Thu, 4 May 2006 07:10:20 -0700 (PDT) > > Hello Gary D. or other avid DAThead-- > I've always trusted your advice, and enjoyed your stuff over the > years--and need to know what device I should get to transfer various > vid sources to my PC for editing. They are a taper-friendly band and have no problem with audio or video taping, and even request that copies be sent to them. I will be attending just a couple of East Coast shows. Below are the complete tour dates for the US. They are also playing in Europe in May and July and those dates are available at their website http://www.thebellrays.com May 5 10:00P Bottom of the Hill San Francisco, CA May 6 5:00P KSCU - On Air Performance Santa Clara, CA May 6 9:00P The Blank Club San Jose, CA May 8 11:00P KXLU - Nez Pollution - ON AIR Los Angeles, CA May 11 9:00P Mercury Lounge Goleta, CA May 12 8:00P Safari Sam's Los Angeles, CA May 13 8:30P The Casbah San Diego, CA May 14 3:00P MusicPlusTV - www.musicplustv.com Los Angeles, CA May 17 9:30P KBOO - ON AIR Portland, OR May 18 6:00P KPSU Radio - ON AIR Portland, CA May 18 8:30P Dante's Portland, OR May 19 8:00P Sunset Tavern Seattle, WA May 20 8:00P The Red Room Vancouver, BC May 21 8:00P The Nightlight Lounge Belingham, WA Jun 10 8:00P Asbury Lanes Asbury Park, NJ Jun 11 11:00P Joe's Pub New York, NY Jun 12 11:00P Joe's Pub New York, NY Jun 13 10:00P Great Scott Allston, MA Jun 14 9:00P Bug Jar Rochester, NY Jun 15 8:00P Zaphod Beeblebrox Ottawa Jun 16 9:00P Legendary Horseshoe Tavern Toronto Jun 17 3:00P Taste Of Randolph Street Chicago, IL Jun 18 5:00P Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Festival Cleveland, OH Jun 18 10:00P Beachland Tavern Cleveland, OH Jun 20 9:00P The Union Athens, OH Jun 21 8:00P Small's Hamtramck , MI Jun 22 9:00P Empty Bottle Chicago, IL Jun 23 9:00P High Noon Saloon Madison, WI Jun 24 7:00P KDHX 88.1 FM ON-AIR St. Louis, MO Jun 24 9:00P Hi-Pointe St. Louis, MO Jun 25 8:00P Goofyfoot Lodge Omaha, NE Jun 26 8:00P Gabes Oasis Iowa City, IA Jun 27 8:00P 7th Street Entry Minneapolis, MN Jun 28 8:30P Duffy's Tavern Lincoln, NE Jun 30 8:00P Larimer Lounge Denver, CO Jul 2 9:00P The Beauty Bar Las Vegas, NV Any help would be appreciated.
