Probably five years or so... Anyhoo, thanks to the incredibly generous Bob S., I have CDs of the 3.4.06 Fagen show at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby PA. I would LOVE to trade for other shows from this tour or Fagen solo stuff from other tours. Also I'll take some folks for good ol' fashioned b&p. Source is Schoeps MK4Vs->M2->SBM1->D100. There are dropouts in I believe 2 songs (on the masters) and some occasionally intrusive chatter, but all in all it's highly listenable and an interesting show. Don plays stuff from all three solo albums, the Dan's back catalog and a few presumably rare cover tunes. Fits on two CDs, burned with Nero from EAC-extracted files on my hard drive. Bon appetit! Date: Sun, 14 May 2006 10:46:24 -0600 Hi again, fellow heads, Thomas Dolby is doing his first US tour in a loooong time. Info is here: http://www.thomasdolby.com/tdtour.html I'm guessing Mr. Dolby probably isn't hip to taping so this would be a stealth job. If anybody's up for it, let me know, I would love to help in any way. He's coming to Denver on the 23rd and I know there are a lot of tapers up there. I have a D7, not glamorous but it works and it's small. Wish I still lived in Annapolis, MD, where he just played two nights in a row! For those that don't know Dolby's music other than "She Blinded Me with Science," check out The Flat Earth or any of his other albums, the stuff is pure genious. Any comments, etc can be directed to me at jfacker at sisna dot com. Here's hoping to hear from some fellow Dolby heads! Namaste, Jeff -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Date: Sun, 14 May 2006 11:18:52 -0700 (PDT) Hi folks. I just aquired a collection of over 150 tapes, mostly masters, of WSP, SCI, Phish, etc. I'd like to trade these tapes for blanks, otherwise I'll be recording over them. Two thirds are 90 meter tapes. I'd prefer someone local so that we don't have to ship anything. Thanks.
