I taped all day on the first of 3 days at Detroit's
Electronic Music Festival. here is who I taped:

(DPA 4060 + DPA BB + Sony TCD-D8) Stack Rec. for
Bluetech and Daniel Bell and DFC for all the rest;

Bluetech, Nicholas Sauser, Ezekiel Honig, Andy Toth,
Detroit Techno Militia, Daniel Bell, James Holden,
Kooky Scientists, A Robert Hood (inc.)


If anyone is interested in hearing the tapes which
sound very good imo, I'll post the day torrents on
DIME or something. take care.

Subject: FM or DAB?

I would like to record a concert that I know is to be broadcast next
week.  I could record onto the DAT from FM radio or DAB.  We are in a
fairly bad reception area but we do have an external FM aerial and
reasonably good tuner.  Would that be better than recording from the
DAB?  The DAB has a digital audio out socket (TosLink) and a RDI
output (TosLink) that I should be able to connect direct to the DAT
(which?)
