He is requesting audience tapers that are able to give him a DAT (or CDR) copy at the end of the show... the ideal situation would be someone that has two decks and can provide him with an immediate copy. However, he will not be providing the second deck... you MUST have two decks to qualify for taping these shows. There will be no board access (audience recordings only), and no power provided (please bring only portable, battery powered decks). Approved tapers will be put on the guest list and will be allowed into the venue with their mic stand and gear... they will be given a good spot to set up their mic stand... At the end of the show, they will hand over one of their DAT (or CDR) copies to the tour manager (please list band, date, city, venue and equipment lineage on the carboard sleeve of the case). Unfortunately, due to certain restrictions, these shows will not be open taping... please do not show up with recording gear unless you are the pre-approved taper, because your gear will not be allowed in.
