"So what do we do with old worn out decks?"
"Kinda hate for them to go to the landfill, any suggestions?"
If the deck is still basically working, how about giving it to an active CD
trader who is not yet themselves taping shows, or does not otherwise have
48khz playback ability?
Or perhaps a unidecker who has a D7 / D8 and has been resampling all his
48khz masters to CD?
Yours Truly,

Got quite a few responses already, looks like I have a
home for the SV-3800 with potentials for the others.
They do still work, just kinda "worn out." They don't
eat tapes. The 75ES got new heads at some point, but
the motors are a little weak. It has trouble with 90m
tapes. The D5 has high error counts on head B, but
does currently play without diginoise.
Thanks for the interest.

Hi Folks,
I've got an extra Zefiro ZA2 thats just sitting here in its original box and
was wondering if anyone could still use it. This was my backup card and has
not seen much use. I'm open to trades or will sell it if nothing else. Make me
an offer. I'm open to just about anything. Ofhand, I could use another
inexpensive home playback DAT.
Take care,
Matt
