In june 1981, the band performed their THE WALL show on 5 consecutive =
nights
at London's Earls Court Arena. 4 nights were captured by a german taper =
in
VG+ quality and I understand his versions are only barely circulating =
from
nth gen. analog. I managed to borrow a set of 1st gen. cassettes from a
friend of the taper and can run them to DAT via my Nak deck for trades.
06/14/1981 London, Earls Court Arena - 116 mins. VG+
06/15/1981 London, Earls Court Arena - 122 mins. VG+
06/16/1981 London, Earls Court Arena - 116 mins. VG+
06/17/1981 London, Earls Court Arena - 118 mins. VG+
The first night, 06/13/1981, was captured as well but is incomplete due =
to
technical problems. For the genuine PF hardcore completists: I can =
provide
this as well if interested.
I'm looking to arrange a couple of DAT trades for 70s/80s master or 1st =
gen.
recordings or good quality 90s DAT masters =
(rock/blues/singer-songwriter).
Along the way, I'm still after copies from JT's PF cassette masters
(2003/2004 transfers - NOT the commonly circulating DAT versions off =
backup
R2R tapes he used to work from in the 90s).
Email privately if interested in trading, I'm looking forward to hear =
from
you.

Indigo Girls show is two discs with some wind noise. (7/9/06)
Supersuckers and Social D. are one disc each, very nice sound. (7/14/06)
Setup is Sennheiser ME2s > SP Battery Box Module > Microtrack @ 16/24
Thanks,
Jason

Hello all,
I'm so infamous for never finishing projects, that I decided to break
the mold by making a "best of" DVD of the current NASA mission
before the mission is even over! I've recorded all the footage
directly from MPEG2 C-band satellite feeds, and almost
miraculously, I've managed to bypass the dreaded "NASA Logo"
that now blemishes the upper-right corner of most NASA footage.
This mission includes some unprecedented views, particularly, six
cameras that were mounted on the solid rocket boosters (SRBs).
The SRBs are white, tube-shaped rockets that give the Shuttle an
extra boost in the first two minutes of flight, and then fall away and
drop into the ocean, where they're recovered and refurbished. One
view from these cameras is pointed downwards: it shows the
smoke and fire at the moment of launch, and then the receding
Florida coastline. At two minutes, the SRB breaks off from the
Shuttle, and it tumbles and floats through empty space. Suddenly,
a parachute opens and the SRB crashes into the ocean. Another
SRB camera, pointed up, got an amazing view of the Shuttle flying
away: probably the first close-up view ever seen of the Shuttle at
this stage in flight.
If you'd like a copy of this DVD in a B&P trade/tree, just send me
an email with the word "Discovery" in the title, and if you're able to
make copies and be a branch, please put this in the message
header in the following manner:
Discovery Branch n where "n" is the number of copies you are
willing to make.
Be sure to put your address in the message body, and if you're
outside the USA, please also put the name of your country in the
header.
Looking forward to a great landing on Monday morning!
