From: eskay <es2damofo@gmail.com> Subject: In & Around Connecticut this upcoming weekend? Date: Mon, 31 Jul 2006 20:11:46 -0400 Hey everyone! I haven't been on the list in about 2 years. Glad to be back. I am performing arts chair for the Sono Arts Celebration in South Norwalk CT August 5th & 6th. Anyways, this isn't an add people. This is an opportunity to record. It's a free festival. We are unofficially a taper friendly festival. Check out http://www.sonoarts.org for the full lineup. Some highlights will be Livintrust, Freddy Harris, Mystic Bowie, Scarecrow Collection, Raisin Hill, Pencilgrass, King for a day & more! So if you're close enough come on down it's gonna be a blast! -- Steve Kingsley My needs to be updated dat list. http://www.es2damofo.com/dat/

From: "john e. bogus" <bogusisme@surfbest.net> Subject: BOC taping policy Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2006 09:04:44 -0400 "anyone know the band's current policy - couldn't find anything on their site or in any of the usual places..." That's because they don't have one.....you'll have to stealth. In my experience, the venues they usually play tend to have minimal security, so they're usually a pretty easy stealth job. From what I understand, the band themselves isn't necessarily against taping, but they hold onto an anti-taping policy on advice of their management, in the hopes that this will somehow help them score another major label record deal. Yours Truly, john e. bogus
From: Rad ient <radientlizzard@yahoo.com> Subject: ISO Tapers for upcoming Eric Johnson tour Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2006 09:17:09 -0700 (PDT) Hello Dat-Heads, Has anyone possibly taped this past show? 07/15/06 Sat - Chicago, IL - Loopfest with Sammy Hagar & Michael Anthony - First Midwest Bank Amphitheater (formerly The Tweeter Center) Eric Johnson is gearing up for a new tour with Roscoe Beck & Tommy Taylor one of the worlds greatests trios in high energy power rock. With the amount of shows being performed by less than talented "artists" these days, this lineup should prove to be mind blowing. If you live near any of these shows, I highly recommend catching one. If perhaps someone out there reading this actually tapes any of these shows I would very much appreciate a trade. I have many shows to offer in trade including masters. Thanks for your time.
