so it's been a few years since running a show (kids, life, etc), but Tom
Waits shows are approaching, and i'm realizing i've lost my touch... or at
least my memory.
I'll be running the M1 with dpa4061s at least and perhaps the Zefiro Inbox
(though it's big and definitely sets of metal-detectors). I remember that
the Line-in on the M1 is too weak, but the Mic-In signal has some issues.
Question is: mic-in with -20db switch and -10db attenuator pad, -20db
alone, flat mic-in with attenuator pad? Mic in alone is too hot, as i
recall. With the Inbox it's a non-issue, and should be the choice i make,
but i'm considering options.
any advice?
thanks,
dwb
