Just got one. Stepping up (over?) from a sony dat. Any tips for a =
newbie? What to watch out for, wacky handling things, irritants, etc.
Also, can you insert track splits directly or do you record as one =
big wav file?

good tip on the korg recorders, they look pretty intriguing but
FUTURE PROOF? dsd seems to me like beta video format was, a
techinically better format but very little widespread
acceptance...it would be nice to move away from PCM digital
audio, but is 1-bit really more future proof than PCM? probably
not, they justify it by convertablity, but PCM can be converted
into 1 bit format too, so PCM is futureproof too, right? :)
hopefully they will be good products but they also have the very
likely potential to be forgotten by defeat in a format
war...don't believe the hype! :)
