This might not be the most appropriate place to post this message but =
I'm
going to go ahead and do it anyway.=A0 I have turned to you because I =
know
there are some really technical people on here, and some of you have got =
to
know something about my interest.=A0 Here is the situation.=A0 I am in a
wheelchair and have very limited movement and dexterity.=A0 I have =
always had
a passion to play the drums but do not have the physical capability.=A0
However, I am determined not to let this stop me from something I want =
to
do.=A0 I realize there are ways to automate drums sound's through the =
computer
with the use of only a mouse.=A0 Even though this is an option for me, I =
think
it's still takes some of the fun out of the physical enjoyment.=A0 I do =
not
have much movement in my hands but I am able to use my fingers =
somewhat.=A0
What I'm looking for is a way to connect fiber-optic switches to some =
sort
of a drum machine.=A0 It would only be two or three switches but I could =
make
some really crazy beats with just those three switches.=A0 I already =
know
there are fiber-optic switches available, I just don't know how I would =
tie
them to a drum machine.=A0 Can you help me out?=A0 If you are familiar =
with what
I am referring to or you simply have an interest please don't hesitate =
to
contact me.=A0 I'm also going to leave a link for a company that makes
fiber-optic switches specifically for people with physical =
disabilities.=A0 I
truly hope something can be worked out.=A0 Thank you for your time.
