Date: Thu, 7 Dec 2006 13:41:41 -0800 (PST) Namste Y'all, first off i have an AKG CK98 short shotgun that is fried. The body works fine as i've tested it w/ the CK 93 capsule. There seems to be a disconnect in the flanged piece that protrudes out the bottom of the enclosure. Any suggestions / rec's on good AKG repair folks in the States? I am in need of replacing my AT 8410a's and am hoping there is another used pair in one of y'alls closets! If not, any idea on who has the cheapest? And finally, i just got done w/ four beautiful nights with Calexico. They are at the top of their game right now and are making even small rooms burst with energy. Their FOH, Jelle, has re-instated the one amount of local currency per taper policy that was loosely in place in the past. So that means if it sounds good, tip him a dollar in the States, or internationally, a euro, a peso, a franc, a whatever. I know this gets more than a couple of folks' panties in a twist, but hey, there ya go! If you want to have an ethical debate feel free to email me privately and not waste bandwidth here;) take care and happy trails richard from flagstaff GREENHOUSE PRODUCTIONS Richard Alun Davis 102 H West Oak Avenue Flagstaff, AZ 86001 (928) 774-1992 http://www.greenhouseproductions.net A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual doom. - Martin Luther King Jr., "The Trumpet of Conscience", 1967 ____________________________________________________________________________________ Cheap talk? She was front row center and she said she felt like she was on the stage. If anyone taped this show, I would love to get a copy of it. I have two DGQ masters that I have to offer and many other artists to trade. Please contact me off list - I would sincerely appreciate any help finding this show for her.
