Looking to trade for any Tracy Chapman live shows I don't have on CDR, DAT,
TAPE or any other media. Check my list out at the below link.
Alternatively - I am willing to buy any Tracy Chapman live show's that I
dont currently have if anybody is willing to sell - You can name your price.
I am wanting to get more shows from Tracy's early tours in 1990, 1991,
1992 or from the 1995 and 1996 tour.
I am willing to pay over $100 for any shows from the above years that I
don't already have.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks

Since I'm a little new to this, I'm hoping the list can validate my
findings. The story:
I have a Sony D8, a pair of MXL 604's, and an M-Audio Audio Buddy
(just bought). I hooked them up for the first time tonight with the
mics as overheads on drums to test that it all would work. On the
first recording, I noticed considerable distortion (I'm using the line
in on the D8). So, I experimented a bit with the levels...turning
them almost to zero on the Audio Buddy & below "4" on the D8. This
alleviated most of the distortion with the exception of the low tom
and floor tom. After reading this:
http://www.rockpark.com/d7/8_sensit.txt
...and a few other posts, it looks like I need an attenuator. Will
this do the trick?

I guess I should state my purpose. I don't plan on recording drums
this way, but rather plan on putting together a rig to record in a few
weeks (http://www.wakarusa.com).
Thanks,
Michael

before ebay gets it...
I've got 2 decks I need to sell - both will need some time in the shop.
tascam da-p1 - purchased in 1996 and serviced/cleaned by pro-digital. I
haven't started her up in years - but I believe that there were some
transport issues (eating tapes). no power brick, but I do have a battery
cable for an external 6v battery. incl 2 internal batteries (with very
few hours on them) Make Offer.
Sony D8 - purchased in 1996 and serviced/cleaned by pro-digital. I was
running this without problem up until recently when it started eating
tapes. Make Offer.
peace,
