Have you tried disabling applications that boot through the msconfig =20
utility? Start>run then type msconfig and uncheck all startup items. =20
If something gets squirrley cuz you unchecked it, reboot into safe =20
mode and check just the things that you think are missing. If you're =20
running 2000, you'll have to google msconfig 2000 and download the =20
proggy manually.
