Hi
I am looking for a recording of the Rolling Stones Oct 17th 2006 Qwest
Field Seattle, WA USA. I have several DAT Stones shows and am willing to
tape a future show of any artists in Osaka Japan for you. Please feel
free to e-mail me if you have anything to offer.

There are several off-the-shelf solar chargers/DC voltage suppliers available these days.
Try Fry's Electronics, Best Buy, or even Camping World and other RV stores.
They come in all sizes, from small pocket carry-able units designed to power a cell phone,
up to 6'x8' roof mount panels for full-sized motorhomes and buses, that will allow you to
camp off the grid indefinitely.
I converted a mid-sized one (8"x12" opened) that supplied the correct voltage/amperage to power
a D8/SBM-1 combo a few years ago. Had to solder on the right set of co-ax power plugs, but it was
a simple "bolt on" operation... ;)
If you have a multi-day fest, buy 2 - one runs the rig in daylight hours, the other charges the
battery supplies for the nighttime sets... Repeat as necessary...

I use this:
<http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HS1YAU/102-8152323-4004944>
It is a USB power supply, so recharges the 2496 on the fly.
Since it uses AA batteries, you can take one of them with
a pocket of AAs. It's also an LED flashlight for when you
screw something up. :)
There's also this sort of thing, but if you're in a festival for
days and nights, there won't be a way to recharge it:
