Hi all,

Long time archive reader, first time poster. I was wondering if anybody kno=
ws of  a company who is doing mods on portable DAT machines, like the ones =
that Oade Brothers used to offer? I have a Sony PCM-M1, and I was hoping to=
 get a mic preamp gain reduction, so I could use stealth mics without overl=
oading the front end. I do have a battery box, and can run my Sound Profess=
ionals mics line-in, but would prefer to be able to go mic-in without the d=
istortion.
