Not sure, but most Edirol gear i'm aware of resamples all digital
inputs. so if you want the purist approach, i'd look at something else.
for example...., the M-Audio "transit" or something. there are some
decent USB / PCMCIA options out there that will not break the bank.

I changed from the Upcode DATport (that one worked only with Windows98, no frivers for XP available) to the Edirol UA-1D when I moved to Windows XP....been extremely happy with the unit ever since...easy to use, XP does hold the appropriate drivers, it`s as easy as "plug ´n play", no automatic resampling, cheap...Go for it!You can get them rather cheap on ebay from time to time...
Best,
Karsten

Hi folks,
Is anyone interested in an instant DAT collection (of the jam band variety)?
There are roughly 550 DATS, the majority being Sony DG60's. I also have a
Sony
M1 DAT recorder, as well as a 7-pin coax cable (passive). If you are
interested in
transferring shows I would also sell my EgoSys WaveTerminal 2496 digital
soundcard. I don't believe I have a list of DATS anymore, but if interested
e-mail me and I could give you a more specific run-down of bands. Ideally,
buyer would be in the tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT) and be able to pick up, but
all
inquires/offers would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
Matt
