Hi Folks.
I have two DA-P1s, both bought used here. Both have
given me a lot of service, but both have problems.

One has a problem with it's electronics. It's fine
once the transport is moving, but often it freezes
when I press play or record. I have to unplug it and
start it again, then it works fine. Obviously this can
be a huge pain while recording on site.

The second has a persistant head clog. My experience
is that when a head is cleaned and clogs again after
only a few hours, it's probably worn out.

So, I'd like to take the head from one unit and put it
in the other. I have no experience doing anything like
this, so if anyone knows anyone in the Chicago area
who might help me out, I'd be very appreciative.
