I have a large DAT collection containing a wide range of artists,  
primarily of the modern or "alternative" rock variety, that I am  
trying to find a good home for.  The collection is just shy of 1000  
physical tapes and over 2000 hours,  including a number of masters,  
mostly from 1997 to 2000. Bands include Nirvana and many others.

I am not so much interested in making money off of this as finding  
this music a good home.  I would consider selling these at the cost of  
tape, or some kind of other arrangement, possibly involving transfer  
of a few key shows that I want to keep.

I also have a Sony DTC-690 and a D8 that I could include in this.

I spent a lot of time, care and money building this collection and  
hope it could go to someone who would keep this stuff in circulation  
for years to come.  I have not played most of these tapes in a long  
time, but they have been stored in an air conditioned de-humidified  
basement.

If you would be interested in discussing further, I can send a  
comprehensive list of what I have and talk about what could be worked  
out.
