Hello, all! 
I am selling this like-new external Sony DDS drive.  It has been flashed with the Silicon Graphics (SGI) firmware and can be used for bit-accurate transfers of your DATs to PC. 
 
This drive had VERY low hours (practically none) when I got it, about 2 years ago.  It was flashed to be audio-capable, and I have used it for less than 30 hours to transfer DATs to my laptop.  It works fine, but I just don't need it anymore. 
 
This is an external unit with a SCSI interface.  It includes a like-new Adaptec Slim-SCSI 1460D PC card with original box & manuals, to be used for connecting the drive to your laptop.  You will also need software like DAT2WAV (can be downloaded or I can provide) or VDAT. 
 
Selling for $150, plus standard US Post Office shipping from Virginia - zip 23451.
