From: "Matt Sohn" <mahatma57@sbcglobal.net> Subject: RE: VDAT Date: Tue, 18 Aug 2009 18:24:10 -0500 Last November I wrote to the author of VDAT aboout getting a copy of the full version. Here is his reply: "You can buy the full version by paying 100 US$ via <www.paypal.com> to user: e.ungemach@web.de . I will send you the full version after you have paid. You are aware, that you need a special drive with special firmware? Greetings Eduard" I ended up going with DAT2WAV, and saved myself $100. -Matt S
From: Jonathan <kc7fys@yahoo.com> Subject: Tweaking VDAT with W2K and XP Date: Wed, 19 Aug 2009 07:58:36 -0700 (PDT) Now I'm all set with VDAT, but when I tried to start the .exe from the desktop in XP, I got a brief flash of a DOS window, then nothing. I assumed it doesn't run on XP, and I loaded up Win2K--where I used it before. Same performance. What am I missing? Any VDAT users willing to send a quick list of steps to making this thing work? Best regards, Jonathan
