If anyone's interested in checking out an independent female
singer/songwriter at a small venue (or house concert) and could get a
recording (ask her first, though - just out of courtesy - she's very
friendly; the mixer would be preferred if available as the sound's usually
not that great in small venues) then I'd be very grateful as she hasn't
been to the West coast (or even toured much at all) over the past 2.5
years. I believe (but am not certain) that all shows are free (though
donations are always welcome) except The Bishop ($5), and Roots & Tendrils
may have a $5 suggested donation, but I'll cover all costs. Other
musicians that are performing at the same shows are listed in the details
of her upcoming shows on MySpace. All of her music can be streamed in full
from last.fm. And if you're going to a show it's best to verify the time
and address as I can't guarantee the accuracy beyond what's available
online (some sites don't yet mention her in their upcoming shows, for
example).
