note that it is a "very good idea" to read errata.txt.

many people have contributed to the DSD effort.  a few have made
significant contributions of time and money in order to see the DSD
become reality.  they are too numerous to mention here.

i've volunteered to coordinate this set of files.  if you have any
comments, questions, additions, improvements, suggestions, etc, please
email them to me.

the most recent versions of these files are available via anonymous
FTP from atd.ucar.edu in pub/dat-heads/dsd.  

there have been two bulk kit purchases.  there will most likely be
another in october 1994.  if you are interested in purchasing a DSD
kit, send me email and i'll gladly add you to my mailing list of
interested parties.
