Pleasantly Plum Mead recipe

Brewed 7/11/1990, Bottled 8/25/1990, Size 7 Gallons
Ingredients:
- 9 lbs Madhava wildlower honey
- 1 cup corn sugar (must)
- 2 tbsp gypsum
- 9 lbs fresh plumbs
- 1 pack unknown yeast
- 3/4 cup corn sugar (bottling)
Specific Gravity Reading, 1 carboy:
- OG 1.045 @ 73 deg F
- FG (unknown)
Comments:
Tasty stuff, but what mead isn't? More plumbs might be a
good idea next time, the plumb flavor was present, but it wasn't
very strong.
